Wastegate Actuator Modification

Wastegate actuator 2.jpg (18627 bytes) The wastegate actuator is held to the compressor housing by two bolts threaded into the housing itself.  The arm attaches to the wastegate linkage with a small retaining clip.  Once the turbine housing is rotated, the wastegate no longer lines up properly.  It must be relocated slightly.  To do this, I drilled a new mounting hole (1/4" drill) in between the existing holes as shown.  Then using just one mounting bolt, line up the new hole with one of the tapped holes on the compressor housing (the one to the left when looking at the holes straight on, compressor housing away from you).
